What is the difference between the LASER Photo Facials and the IPL?
I do not perform laser facials. Using a laser for Photo Facials is old technology. The
treatment requires the client to have numbing cream applied to their face for up to 30
minutes before the treatment. Even with numbing cream, the treatment involves pain. Each
time the laser “fires” on the skin, if feels as if someone is snapping a rubber band on your
face.
I perform IPL treatments with Cold Wand Technology which requires no numbing
creams or wait time and are virtually pain-free.
How many treatments are needed?
Six sessions are recommended, per area, for permanent removal. Packages, purchased as
six sessions, are discounted and offer a one year guarantee. If any hair grows back after the
six sessions, I will perform more sessions AT NO COST.
Do you offer any discounts?
YES. Always check the “SPECIALS” page of this site. In general, packages of 6 are already
discounted 10%. If you are a first time client and purchase a package, we will discount
another 10% for 20% total discount.
Are treatments painful?
NO. The StarLux uses a revolutionary treatment wand that is cool to the touch. Even though
some areas of the body are more sensitive than others, most people report little to no
discomfort both during and after treatment.
What types of skin and hair can be treated?
Since the StarLux only targets the hair pigment, the surrounding pores and skin are not
affected, leaving the skin smooth and permanently hair free. It is safe for almost all hair and
skin types.
What does “Skin Rejuvenation” mean?
It means to tone, tighten and resurface the skin, to ready it for new skin cells, hydrate it and
look more youthful.
